  • We are now accepting registration application forms for the 2011 Tour du Canada and Tour Arctic. We will firm up the remainder of our schedule in the Fall.

Note Regarding Goods and Services Tax.

In 2010 there will changes made to the rates of Goods and Services Tax in some provinces in Canada. Details are as follows:

Tax: Fees are subject to federal Goods and Services Tax (GST) and Harmonized Sales Tax (HST).  Rates vary based on time spent in a province or territory during a trip.  HST applies in British Columbia at a rate of 12%.  HST at a rate of 13% applies in Ontario, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Newfoundland.  In other provinces and in the northern territories, GST at a rate of 5% applies.

Policy Note:  Fees are per person in Canadian Funds    For trips with all indoor accommodation we plan for two to a room at indoor stays but may need to put three in a room or assess a single supplement where there is an uneven gender mix.

On Tour Pacific and Tour Arctic some nights are in hostels with dormitory accommodation and it may be necessary to accommodate mixed genders in the same dormitory in such cases.
